Parent-Teacher eXchange (PTX) is a key component of the iSM System. Owners, principals, teachers, and parents each have their own individual login taking them to the functions and information relevant to their needs and interests. It is a communication portal enabling teachers to keep parents up-to-date with their children's development and current announcements of events. At iSchoolX, we recognise that effective communication is a two-way street, in which two or more parties send feedback to and fro in exchange of views, questions and ideas. Aptly named the Parent-Teacher eXchange, this portal is accessible from any computer via a web browser.

For Parents

Research suggests that family involvement in education can boost young children’s academic success (e.g., Henderson & Berla, 1994; Izzo, Weissbert, Kasprow & Fendrich, 1999; Marcon, 1999; Powell, 1989). Keep up-to-date with your child's progress in class through our PTX eCommBook.

Based on a study by the Harvard Family Research Project, parents generally experience three main feelings when sending their child off to preschool for the first time: happiness, sadness, and worry. Happiness when their child is excited about school, sadness as they will be missing their child and worried mostly about their child's social relationships with other children. With PTX, you will be able to easily communicate students' progress to their parents and help ease their worry.
